A family on the mission field
Mexico is more than
a place we serve.
It is where we are raising our family, serving our church, and investing our lives in the work of the Gospel.
We are Jonathan and Jenny Ashcraft. We have served as missionaries in Mexico since October 17, 2007. Together with our children—Jonathan Jr., Tommy, Lucas, and Megan—we call northern Mexico home.
Jonathan grew up in a missionary family in Mexico. Today, he pastors Mount Hebron Baptist Church and directs Mount Hebron Baptist Bible Institute in Santiago, Nuevo León.

Making disciples
We want new believers to grow in their faith, become faithful members of a local church, and learn to disciple others. Seeing those we have taught begin teaching others is a particular joy.
03 / EQUIP
Training for ministry
Mount Hebron Baptist Bible Institute prepares national pastors, missionaries, and Christian workers to serve in local churches and take the Gospel to others.

Nineteen years in Mexico
October 17 marked nineteen years since our arrival on the field. We are grateful for the privilege of serving here and for those who have stood with us along the way.
One encouraging development is seeing believers who have been discipled now discipling others. The work continues as people hear the Gospel and take steps of obedience.
We are also planning for additional Bible Institute dormitories. Architectural designs and permits are the next steps. If you are an architect—or know someone who could help—we would welcome the opportunity to talk.
